Charles L. Magyar III grew up in Glen Gardner, NJ and had a love for cars and motorcycles since he was just a boy. He worked in his family's garage after returning from the United States Air Force.
Linda Magyar, formerly Shadis, was raised in Washington, NJ and attended Centenary College. While finishing my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business Administration/Management, I met Charlie after choosing Weeping Willow Garage out of the phone book based on liking the name. We got married in 1990, had 2 children (Charles IV and Tyler) in 1992 and 1993, and purchased Weeping Willow Garage in 1997.
Originally we worked out of a small garage we rented behind J&D Auto Body. It was 2 bays, no room to move and it constantly flooded. Fortunately, we made a big move and purchased the old Washington Mechanical Building at 224 Route 31 North in Washington, in 2007. The back half of the building is now Weeping Willow Garage, LLC. The front half has a couple options. Linda will either open something in there or prepare to rent it out. This, of course, was the plan until the fire on 4-12-13.
